About the position

We are seeking a creative and analytical Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, help grow brand awareness, generate leads, and support overall marketing strategies. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with internal partners to understand needs and brief the marketing team accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute projects, ensure timelines are met, and maintain workflow standards.
  • Work with the Marketing Director to develop and implement content strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and online communities.
  • Research dermatology topics and emerging social media trends to inform content planning.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and social media campaigns.
  • Maintain and grow the company’s online presence by managing social platforms, responding to comments, and ensuring respectful engagement.
  • Build brand awareness through influencer engagement, community building, and thoughtful content strategy.
  • Use analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Coach Tareen Dermatology team members on social media best practices and content creation guidelines.
  • Support event marketing through content creation, graphic support, and on-site setup/preparation.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content for social media, events, and campaigns—including coordinating shoots and managing equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Design Manager to maintain brand consistency and uphold creative standards.
  • Write content for blogs, email, and internal/external collateral (brochures, newsletters), speeches and other tailored campaign messages.
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Implement public relations strategies to maintain Tareen Dermatology’s public image.
  • Assist in writing and distributing detailed press releases, and fact sheets.
  • Assist in scheduling press conferences and public events, and coordinating interview requests.
  • Help maintain an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media.
  • Partner with the Content and Design Manager and Marketing Director to define consistent experience in how we increase our brand awareness through events.
  • Assist with pre-event activities, promotions, setup and breakdown and other event associated activities.
  • Setting up lighting and sound equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years’ proven experience using graphic design and social media for brand-building.
  • Strong understanding of layout, graphic design, web design, photography, and videography.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InShot and other designs applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and follow up.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
