About the position

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase SynerComm’s brand in the IT Infrastructure/Cybersecurity space and helps drive reciprocal revenue. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who works well independently, has a strong understanding of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, has excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful campaigns in B2B marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, and technical teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain the company’s brand positioning and messaging in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity.
  • Lead internal and contracted marketing resources, including content creators, designers, and digital marketing specialists.
  • Lead and oversee the company’s website and social media presence, showcasing solutions and services capabilities and expertise, communicate with customers, and attract visitors.
  • Lead and oversee creation of high-quality content, including presentations, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and other collaterals to reinforce the company’s standing as a trusted IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity authority.
  • Develop and manage the launch of the company’s new go-to-market solutions and services offerings, to include launch kits and training.
  • Develop and manage public relations initiatives, including media outreach, speaking engagements, and participation in industry events.
  • Foster partnerships with IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity influencers, analysts, and key stakeholders to enhance brand credibility.
  • Assist with lead generation campaigns using digital marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media strategies.
  • Collaborate to optimize inbound and outbound marketing strategies to attract, engage, and convert target audiences.
  • Collaborate to develop and implement AI-driven marketing capabilities to improve customer targeting, understand customer behavior, preferences, and buying patterns.
  • Leverage data analytics and marketing automation tools to measure performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate to plan and execute participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with industry associations and Cybersecurity communities to expand reach and visibility.
  • Track and report on key marketing performance indicators, including website traffic, lead conversion rates, and demand creation campaigns ROI.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize impact and achieve revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant marketing experience, strongly preferred to be within the Technology/Cybersecurity industry and B2B consulting.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns and demand generation strategies from inception to completion.
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing, SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Domestic travel is required.
