About the position

Pilatus is hiring a Material Planning Analyst to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating on-time availability of spare parts by maintaining an accurate quarterly forecast, actively provisioning for service bulletin kits, managing consignment inventory, and facilitating clear cross-functional communication with our customers, our supply chain team, and our planning counterparts in Switzerland. Responsibilities

  • Maintains quarterly sales forecast for our supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and availability of spare parts for our service centers
  • Actively manages consignment inventory at multiple customer locations
  • Communicates with service centers to ensure on-time return of exchange pool cores
  • Communicates with service centers to provision for upcoming scheduled maintenance visits
  • Maintains the list of recommended spare parts for visibility to service centers
  • Oversees exchange pool inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Works with the planning team in Switzerland to provision for service bulletin kits
  • Works creatively to identify ways to improve material availability
  • Participates in scheduled material planning meetings
  • Coordinates with supply chain and Switzerland's planning team to schedule deliveries
  • Reviews weekly AOG orders and makes adjustments to ensure availability in the future
  • Participates in 24/7/365 AOG coverage rotation

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Material planning and/or spare parts forecasting experience
  • Must be able to prioritize the workload and produce high quality, detailed work on a consistent basis
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Professional software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Must meet the criteria of a U.S. person as defined under ITAR 22 CFR 120.62

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP and/or Quantum Component Control ERP systems
  • APICS Planning and Inventory Management Certification (CPIM)
  • Experience in aviation/aerospace
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
  • Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 knowledge
  • Ability to perform and execute advanced commands in Excel such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.
