The Medical Imaging Specialist III CT-XR at Sunrise Hospital is responsible for providing healthcare services using x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Assesses patient data reflective of age-specific needs and provides appropriate care.
• Performs computed tomography and related procedures to produce sectional anatomic images.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of imaging services.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes conditions essential for successful procedures.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
• Member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Demonstrated documented competence specific to the CT position.
• Registered by the ARRT (CT) or registry eligible for ARRT (CT).
• Current BLS certification.
