About the position

The Oncology Service (TOS) in Springfield, VA is seeking a third Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join their dedicated team. This position focuses on providing compassionate and advanced cancer care to pets and their owners, emphasizing emotional intelligence, teamwork, and a commitment to quality care. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent veterinary oncology care to patients and their families.
• Participate in clinical trials and advance the field of veterinary oncology.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment options and patient progress.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Board certification in medical oncology (DACVIM-O).
• Ability to become licensed to practice in Virginia.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
