About the position

The position involves ensuring the maintenance of the area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures, providing exceptional member service, and assisting with the training of associates. The role focuses on handling returns, organizing merchandise, and promoting Sam's Club products and services while ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area of responsibility by handling returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
• Assist members with transactions in the self-checkout area, resolving issues, and processing payments according to company policies.
• Secure and safeguard Sam's Club assets by observing potential criminal activity and executing emergency response procedures.
• Train Member Frontline Service associates on company processes, new technology, and continuous learning opportunities.
• Comply with company policies and standards of ethics by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers, identifying priorities, and adapting to change.

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register)
• Experience working with mobile retail applications
