About the position

The CDP Architect role at Microsoft Customer Insights focuses on developing and implementing strategies for Customer Data Platform (CDP) projects. This position involves designing integration with external systems, defining data ingestion patterns, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data quality and effective customer profile management. The architect will leverage best practices in journey orchestration and work with both internal teams and external vendors to execute omni-channel use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Build the overarching strategy and high-level plan for CDP implementation.
  • Design and build integration with external systems/data sources leveraging CDP integration features.
  • Work with Functional SME to define the roadmap for Customer Data Platform project.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to understand Data Sources, Data Quality, and Data Source Mapping.
  • Define Ingestion/Egression Patterns of data in Microsoft Customer Insights.
  • Understand dependencies amongst data sources and destinations and provide inputs to building architecture and design documents.
  • Bring best practices for CDP and Journey orchestration to the engagement.
  • Work with internal and CDP vendor professional services to execute Omni channel use cases.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 end-to-end implementations of CDP project.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Hands-on experience on MDM implementations.
  • Must have hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Customer Insights - Data and Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys.
  • Overall 12+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years of crafting customer-centric datasets (i.e. CRM, Call Center, Marketing, MDM, CDP, Offline, Point of Sale, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of customer profile segmentation and experience in 360-degree view of customers in CDP for further analytical processing and decision making.
  • Strong understanding of ETL, Data quality / Cleansing and Identity resolution.
  • Strong and hands-on knowledge of SQL, Data modeling, and Data warehouse.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, digital analytics, customer360, MarTech space is a big plus.
