About the position

Club Pilates Salem is seeking Certified Pilates Instructors to join their dynamic team. This part-time role focuses on leading reformer-based workout routines and providing a supportive and motivating environment for clients of all fitness levels. Instructors will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and contribute to a growing fitness community in Salem, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pilates group reformer classes to studio standards.
• Instruct clients using a variety of equipment, ensuring a safe and creative experience.
• Offer private, semi-private, demo, or other sessions as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean workout environment.
• Greet your students and assist with their check-ins.
• Be a motivating and inspiring presence in the studio.

Requirements

• Comprehensive Pilates Certification through an accredited program (e.g., Club Pilates, STOTT, BASI, Polestar, etc.).
• Energetic, positive, and motivational teaching style.
• Ability to work at least 6 hours per week.
• Experience teaching 5 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class.
• Ability to modify workouts as needed.
• Ability to work harmoniously with management and other instructors.
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated to helping students reach their goals.
• Willingness to complete continued education trainings or workshops.
• Willingness to learn club management software (e.g., Club Ready).
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Balanced Body reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, spring boards, and ballet barre.
• Previous experience in a fitness studio environment.
