About the position

We are seeking 1-2 highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our team in Hampton, VA. This part-time role involves providing advanced nursing care, particularly in wound care, to patients in their homes. The Nurse Practitioner will assess and treat wounds, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure comprehensive patient care. This is a new service, and the position offers flexibility in scheduling and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients where they call home
• Treat the patients' wounds with advanced treatment
• Communicate with the patients' primary caregivers
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Intellicure)
• Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards of nursing practice

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of VA
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Some experience in wound care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
