About the position

St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates, P.C. is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to join its established team at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. This role focuses on managing patients in labor and overseeing both routine and complex deliveries, including cesarean sections, within a robust obstetrics/gynecology program that handles approximately 3,700 deliveries annually. The position offers a shift-based schedule with three 15-hour shifts per week, providing an exciting opportunity to deliver state-of-the-art care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in labor and oversee routine and complex deliveries, including cesarean sections.
• Provide care for both routine and high-risk deliveries with support from Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.
• Collaborate with a comprehensive team consisting of Midwifery, OBGYN, MFM, and level 3 NICU services.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Excellent clinical skills and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to providing excellent, team-oriented care.
• Ability to triage, evaluate, supervise, and provide care for both routine and high-risk deliveries.
