Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

About the position

The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with a focus on efficiency, freshness, and quality. This role involves assembling orders, processing payments, and delivering orders to customers' vehicles, all while providing a positive customer service experience. Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently while ensuring freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon their arrival for pick-up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from the Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions provided in the note section.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
