About the position

The Part-Time Associate (Overnight Load Crew) plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining store operations. This position involves stocking shelves, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store. Associates are expected to work overnight shifts and contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing on merchandise and check product date codes for rotation.
• Stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale and set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Review invoices/bills for accuracy and maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the store.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, and handle refunds when approved by management.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages and assist customers with their purchases.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English and interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and pricing codes.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in small group situations.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.
