Part-Time Bartender/Walker – The Springs Resort

About the position

The Springs Resort and Spa is seeking an energetic and guest-focused Part-Time Bartender/Walker to elevate the guest experience through exceptional beverage service. This dual-role position includes both preparing and serving beverages behind the bar, and providing engaging and timely poolside and lounge-area drink service throughout the resort.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages following resort standards
• Deliver drinks to guests across the property, ensuring accurate and timely service with a friendly attitude
• Take poolside or lounge-area drink orders using handheld systems (as applicable)
• Ensure responsible alcohol service, including verifying guest identification
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels at the bar and in beverage delivery stations
• Proactively engage with guests, anticipate needs, and resolve any service issues
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with fellow team members to support a seamless and enjoyable guest experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• TIPS or similar alcohol service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• 6+ months experience in bartending, cocktail service, or similar hospitality role preferred
• Previous resort or high-volume experience is a plus
• Solid knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations
• Outstanding guest service and communication skills
• Comfortable walking and carrying trays outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a team-player mindset
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
