About the position
Cashco has one opening for a Part-time CNC Attendant. The CNC Attendant is to produce quality parts as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading machines to produce parts that represent the output of the machine shop.
- Remove any unwanted pieces with necessary hand tools then move parts to the deburring station.
- Accountable for efficiency to produce parts to support the work cell setter.
- May make limited decisions regarding his/her own work.
- Works in strict adherence to guidelines. Deviations must be authorized by supervisor.
- Keep the area clean to support the 5S objectives.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints and understand the assembly process.
- Measure and inspect parts as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous machining experience is preferred.
- Must possess basic computer knowledge.
- Must have a technical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical principles.
- The ability to communicate openly in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail along with organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks daily.
- Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50lbs with or without accommodations are required in all positions.
