As a Famous Footwear Sales Lead, you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer. You do this by creating a welcoming environment and in-store culture where customers say, “I’ll take it” and are loyal to your store, our brands, and our company. Responsibilities
- Inspire teammates with integrity and drive, fostering a culture of caring and camaraderie.
- Help infuse coaching moments for the selling behaviors behind our Customer Connection.
- Drive sales with purpose and determination to achieve goals.
- Know the ins-and-outs of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly from pricing to inventory.
- Open and close the store, keeping it clean, organized, and shoppable.
- Stick to company policies and utilize resources to accomplish tasks.
- Champion the Famous culture by delivering top-notch customer experiences.
- Embrace diversity and inclusivity, ensuring every associate feels valued.
- Make shoe recommendations to customers and ensure they leave with the perfect fit.
Requirements
- Has a High School Diploma/GED.
- Proficient working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
- Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu.
- Previous experience being on a team and motivating others to accomplish a goal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate direction set by the store manager.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule and meet availability requirements of the role.
- Has basic computer skills.
