About the position

The Payroll & Account Payable Specialist at FriendFinder Networks is responsible for managing the payroll processes for both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments. This role involves handling various payroll-related tasks, including checking timesheets, processing pay, and maintaining payroll records. The specialist will also manage accounts payable functions, ensuring proper payment approvals and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position is hybrid, requiring the candidate to reside in the San Jose/San Francisco Bay Area and is a full-time role.

Responsibilities

  • Check timesheets for accuracy and calculate employee pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits.
  • Handle terminations, garnishments, pay adjustments, PTO accrual, time off without pay, and retroactive payments.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files, ensuring data is entered correctly and on time.
  • Generate reports for Accounting and Human Resources using ADP Custom Reporting.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and issues concerning payroll, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare all vouchers and approved invoices for payment using PN3.
  • Interface with appropriate departments to secure proper payment approvals.
  • Prepare account payable ACH and Wires, adhering to company policies and payroll laws.
  • Assist with audit requests and payroll-related ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of ADP experience, preferably with a multi-state employer.
  • Experience with PayExpert, etime, and Custom Reporting.
  • Expert proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, Ezlabor, GL Interface, and Custom Reporting.
  • Proficient knowledge of general payroll practices and Federal and State regulations.
  • Must be comfortable with adult content.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
