About the position

The Payroll Support Representative at ADP is responsible for providing support to Major Accounts Comprehensive Services Client users on various payroll applications. This role involves addressing inquiries from Client Payroll Administrators, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a seamless Client experience by collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors. The representative will also be tasked with proactive communication with assigned Clients, offering guidance on payroll practices and tax considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to questions from Clients regarding the use of the WFN, PayX, ezLM, Portal, and HRB applications.
  • Assist Clients with data maintenance, setup, and configuration changes in AutoPay Mainframe, WFN, ezLM, HRB, and the Portal.
  • Perform new feature setup requests such as Group Term Life, HSA, and direct deposit calculations.
  • Assist and support Clients with payroll processing questions and issues.
  • Use online tools and resources to research and respond to Client inquiries regarding payroll and tax questions.
  • Collaborate with internal Clients/Partners and third-party vendors to identify and resolve issues.
  • Escalate Client issues to appropriate teams and communicate status and resolution to Clients.
  • Complete complex projects including calculation updates, special reports, and tax amendments.
  • Assist Clients with understanding tax changes and conduct necessary research and follow-ups.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or completion of FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification).
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll tax deposit, filings, principles, and wage and hour laws.
  • Expected to achieve working knowledge of WFN, PR Module, HR Module, TA Module, Wage Garnishments, Tax Registration, Total Tax Plus, ADP Reporting, and GLI.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
