About the position

The Pediatric Hospitalist position at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a per diem role focused on providing care for pediatric patients in a family-centered environment. The hospital features a 6-bed Pediatric ICU, a 10-bed Pediatric unit, and a 26-bed Level III Neonatal ICU, with a high volume of deliveries annually. The pediatric hospitalist will be responsible for consulting on pediatric patients in the emergency department, caring for newborns, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists.

Responsibilities

• Caring for medical patients on the Pediatric Unit.
• Consulting on pediatric patients in the emergency department.
• Consulting on surgical patients.
• Caring for newborn infants who do not require NICU-level care.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Active Idaho license or IMLC compact eligibility.
• Comfortable with sedation and non-invasive ventilation.
