Responsibilities

  • Support people leaders within the assigned client group and provide guidance and coaching to assist people leaders to effectively lead and develop their teams.
  • Drive accountability for performance, reliability, and behavioral standards through corrective action.
  • Act as point-of-contact for employee relations, handling employee complaints, conflict resolution, and interpreting company practices and policies.
  • Maintain a positive environment for employees, coaching for employee development, ensuring employees feel heard and valued.
  • Possess strong knowledge of employment law and HR risk mitigation best practices.
  • Assist People Partner team with key initiatives and projects contributing to the company-wide enterprise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources experience, working with multiple client groups.
  • Extensive experience with corrective/disciplinary action philosophy and practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in one-on-one settings and group settings.
  • Passion and successful track record for mentoring and coaching managers as well as employees.
  • Experience supporting HR programs like career path, leveling, learning programs, calibrations.
  • Ability to track projects and programs and move them forward to completion in a timely manner.
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with data and multiple HR platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR compliance and legal requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Formal education preferred (Bachelor or Masters degree in a related field and/or certifications).
  • Training and/or certification as a coach preferred.
