About the position

The Pharmacy Toter position at PharmScript involves assisting pharmacists in preparing and delivering medications to long-term and post-acute care facilities. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform light warehouse duties, ensuring that medications are accurately sorted, packed, and delivered in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists by sorting medications
• Check racks/bins before each delivery departure for missing meds
• Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
• Assist pharmacy floor during down times for additional support
• Ensure all medications are scanned into the computer system (Frameworks) and staged correctly for each delivery
• Sort and pack medications as required inside totes
• Attach all necessary packaging documents to each tote before handing it to delivery personnel
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
• Prepare delivery manifests, packing slips, and ancillary paperwork (MCRs, TSP notifications, etc.)
• Retrieve final reviewed medication baskets/carts from RPh final review stations
• Scan all medications pending for delivery using Frameworks
• Scan manifests into the system for confirmation of delivery
• Sort all baskets/carts of final reviewed medications according to facility units, location, and delivery times
• Tote/Bag medications for delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required
