PM Steward- 4 Diamond Hotel

About the position

The Edgewater Hotel is seeking a PM Steward to join our team! The Steward (Dishwasher) is responsible for the operation of the dish machine. Also responsible for collecting dirty plates and pots/pans from various areas, and restocking said areas with clean items, regular sweep/mop of work area and general cleaning of counter tops, tables, sinks, mats, dish area, and floors, disposal of trash, waste, and grease, and working with chemicals.

• Sweep/mop work area regularly.
• Clean counter tops, tables, sinks, mats, dish area, and floors.
• Dispose of trash, waste, and grease.
• Work with cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Must be able to work safely with delicate equipment and china/glass/silver.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Understanding of basic sanitation, including safely reading and following instructions on various equipment and chemicals/cleaning agents.
• Ability to communicate regularly with associates and supervisors.
• Ability to follow daily checklists and report any issues or challenges to management team.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English and have a team-oriented attitude.
