About the position
The Windows Platform and Developer (WinPD) team is looking for an experienced, hands-on Principal Software Development Engineer with a deep passion for developers and making Windows the destination for them. Our mission is to make Windows the best platform to build ON and FOR — and we’re looking for someone who thrives in code, enjoys crafting elegant technical solutions, and is energized by helping developers be more productive as they build on and for Windows. In this role, you’ll not only shape architecture and strategy — you’ll also be hands on, and diving into code. You’ll work closely with engineering and product leaders across WinPD and Microsoft to deliver modern developer tools and platform capabilities that meet developers where they are and help them go further, faster, and delighting them along the way. Responsibilities
