About the position

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. As the Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for specific tasks including, but not limited to: Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows HW platforms from the OS up to the C2BMC developed applications, documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be delivered to the customer, develop installation scripts to automate the system installation and developing test plans/procedures for software integration test conduct, be responsible for integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows HW platforms from the OS up to the C2BMC developed applications.
  • Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be delivered to the customer.
  • Develop installation scripts to automate the system installation.
  • Develop test plans/procedures for software integration test conduct.
  • Integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports.

Requirements

  • Must possess IAT Level II certification.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date (with SCI eligibility).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.
  • Experience with VMWare systems administration and installing.
  • Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system.
  • Experience with scripting and automation technologies and Git.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands on experience working with automated tool.
  • Familiarity with Java.
  • Experience working with Missile Defense Agency. Previous experience on the C2BMC Program.
  • Scrum Master experience.
