About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Software Engineering Manager to join our AI Hub Platform team. This team is responsible for providing the platform APIs and infrastructure for the Microsoft 365 Copilot app and all partner teams that build AI-enabled experiences within the application. As a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team that is creating the Copilot app being used by millions of customers. Your team will work on web services, web application code, infrastructure, and/or platform APIs to expand AI experiences in Microsoft 365 Copilot. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable the M365 Copilot app and drive innovation. If you are passionate about AI and have an experienced technical leadership background, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact. In this role, you will work closely with partner teams to build new additional capabilities for the app, web service, platform, and infrastructure. You will also work to help improve the application's performance and quality.
