About the position

The Private Banking Licensed Relationship Manager at Vectra Bank is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of clients, focusing on generating and retaining business through various banking products and services. This role emphasizes building strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while providing tailored financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
  • Focuses on generating, managing and servicing a portfolio of clients.
  • Responsible for generating, retaining and expanding business in loan and deposit products, investment and trust referrals, and commercial business referrals.
  • Conducts credit analysis and proper loan structuring.
  • Maintains a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Develops and follows-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
  • Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and some experience with lending, sales, banking products and services, or other directly related experience.
  • Solid to advanced knowledge of banking, commercial lending, mortgages, investments, trusts, affinity and insurance products and services.
  • Ability to display sound judgment.
  • Solid to advanced sales, self-management, credit analysis, loan structuring, applicant interviewing, and perceptive character judgment skills.
  • Strong knowledge in financial planning enabling recognition of investments, brokerage sales, and referral possibilities.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to a high degree of service quality.
  • Intermediate computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • FINRA Series 79 (or grandfathered Series 7), Series 63 required within 90 days of start date, fully licensed within 6 months.
