About the position
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join the team in Jacksonville, FL. This inspector implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations. The role involves inspecting all phases of a variety of goods, services or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions. The inspector ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner, specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished, communicates deficiencies to proper persons, maintains Quality Control files, and documents results of all inspections.
Responsibilities
- Implement quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
- Inspect all phases of a variety of goods, services or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards.
- Ensure all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
- Specify areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished.
- Communicate deficiencies to proper persons.
- Maintain Quality Control files.
- Document results of all inspections.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience with Quality Assurance or Technical Inspection.
- 1+ year of experience in conducting Compliance, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Tool Control and/or Audit assessments.
- Must currently hold an A&P License.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficient in all forms of NCR and EPD generation (NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU and RGEN Revision, etc.).
- Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.
