About the position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry Level or Associate Product Data Management Specialist to join the Boeing Global Services Change Management team in Mesa, AZ. The Product Data Management Specialist will support primarily Apache and Little Bird programs for the United States Government and international customers. The ideal candidate should have experience in Configuration Management Certification(s) such as CMTF or IPX CMII, experience with legacy and/or new production military aircraft such as AH-64, CH-47, V-22, MELB or AH-6i, strong verbal and written communication skills, experience with military aircraft sustainment products and services, ability to collaborate across Boeing integrated product teams (IPTs) including (Technical Publications, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), sustainment engineering, production engineering, and program management) and business units (BDS, BGS, BAO, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Support configuration management activities including the development of configuration management planning documentation.
  • Coordination of change review board to manage changes for logistics elements.
  • Support integration, analysis and resolution of issues with engineering product structure.
  • Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Utilize knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines to resolve technical challenges.
  • Assists with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years’ of experience in a Configuration or Data Management role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in related discipline.
  • 2 or more years' of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Configuration Management Certification(s) such as CMTF or IPX CMII.
  • Experience with legacy and/or new production military aircraft.
  • Experience with military aircraft sustainment products and services.
