Product Designer Intern

About the position

Imprint is building a next-generation co-branded credit card company to serve America's great brands. Some of our partners include H-E-B, Turkish Airlines, Brooks Brothers, and Eddie Bauer. Imprint is backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Affirm. We are focused on building a brilliant team who want to change payments and who embody Imprint's Operating Principles. We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program. This role provides hands-on experience in product design, contributing to the development of intuitive and delightful user experiences for our cutting-edge payment solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to bring ideas to life and solve complex design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to address user pain points and improve product usability.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with technical requirements.
• Contribute to the creation of visually engaging interfaces that align with Imprint's brand identity and design standards.
• Collect and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to refine designs and deliver optimal solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.

Requirements

• Incoming Juniors or Seniors graduating in 2025-2026.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and user needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas effectively.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in fintech or technology-driven solutions.
