About the position
The Product Finisher is responsible for working as part of a team and assembling, inspecting, and packaging product. The main focus is to help facilitate the timely manufacturing and delivery of Amcor Shield Pack’s products, ultimately leading to customer satisfaction, all while maintaining safe work practices and adhere to food safety and GMP guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
- Perform handwork – including cutting, inspecting, sealing, gluing, taping, labeling and spouting
- Package finished goods and prepares them for shipment
- Perform quality checks on products and parts
- Review work orders and drawings to ensure work is performed according to specification
- Complete production reports when necessary
- Practice good housekeeping – including sweeping, dusting, wiping off tables, etc.
- Actively participate in all required trainings including but not limited to safety and technical trainings
- Responsible for inspecting all goods produced
- Responsible for packaging all goods produced
- Responsible for trimming and accuracy of all goods produced
- Responsible for data accuracy of all transactions performed
- Other duties as assigned to ensure production remains streamlined and as successful as possible
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent, is preferred
- Six months experience in manufacturing environment, is preferred
- Ability to read diagrams and follow directions
