About the position

The Product Lead for Risk Onboarding at Stripe is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy to onboard users effectively onto the Stripe platform. This role involves managing a team of product managers to enhance the user journey from onboarding to ongoing engagement, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience while addressing user challenges in risk and compliance management.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and manage PMs in the Onboarding and Trusted Users team
• Define the goals and multi-year roadmap for user enablement on Stripe
• Understand and articulate user problems and devise solutions
• Collaborate with other Stripe teams to shape product plans
• Drive the delivery of user experiences in risk and compliance management

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience
• 5+ years managing a team
• Technical skills to understand software systems and integrate with the Stripe API
• Experience with both consumer products and risk-related products

Nice-to-haves

• Strong product sense with experience in business and consumer experiences
• Experience collaborating with design for user experience
• Ability to develop a multi-year vision and strategy for large-scale products
