About the position

In this Data Center Product Manager role, you will be responsible for the success, vision, and strategy of the product(s) as well as understanding user needs, setting the roadmap, and working with engineering. The role will require a high level of commercial judgement to achieve desired business outcomes. You will be responsible for creating strong working relationships and influence across executive leadership, product management, engineering and other functional groups to execute the strategy across Delta businesses, partners and customers.

  • Revenue projections 5+ years.
  • NPI plan for each series of products through migration & EOL.
  • Pricing structure.
  • Inventory control.
  • RMA process.
  • Economic information for the region.
  • Competitor analysis.
  • Product needs (functional & certifications).
  • Slide deck for sales presentations.
  • Product promotion.
  • Training material.
  • Documentation (ex. company website).
  • Trade shows.

Requirements

  • B.S.E (EE or related) & 5+ years experience of product management experience.
  • Conducts business professionally with a full understanding of area of specialization.
  • Follows policies/procedures to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Solves diverse and complex problems from minimal instructions.
  • Able to analyze data and identify factors to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all levels.
  • Applies professional concepts.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and to probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel, and Word.
  • Able to travel out of state and country.
  • Details and results oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities at one time.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and the success of others.
  • Develop and maintain relationships.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with time management skills.

Nice-to-haves
