Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs.
  • Develop creative chemical treatment programs for Cooling, Process, membranes, and wastewater treatment applications.
  • Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance.
  • Prepare cost estimates for the proposed treatment program.
  • Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert.
  • Create and deliver technical content, including PDS and MSDS, to support business development initiatives.
  • Participate in site audits for problem-solving and solutions development.
  • Collaborate with sales teams during the discovery and selling process and start-up of the system after receiving the order.
  • Monitor treatment performance at key accounts and conduct periodic reviews.
  • Conduct technical training programs for the sales team and at customer sites with the regional sales teams.
  • Develop a technical services team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster new relationships with existing and potential clients while delivering a high level of client service.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization through both written and verbal communication with clients, direct reports, and other employees.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on sales goal metrics.
  • Strong and demonstrated technical and problem-solving skills.
  • 10 (ten) or more years of experience in applications, proposal development and service support of performance chemicals for water & wastewater treatment solutions in the heavy Industrial sector to end users.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree or related field equivalent.
