About the position

The Product Manager is responsible for leading the full product lifecycle strategy, market positioning, and growth initiatives for assigned product lines while ensuring brand consistency and customer relevance. Acting as the voice of the customer, this role partners closely with the Vice President of Marketing and cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and operations to align on product development, go-to-market strategies, and brand messaging. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and profitability by translating market insights into compelling, customer-focused solutions that strengthen brand equity and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives and market needs.
  • Lead market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Own product roadmap and lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life.
  • Partner with engineering and operations on product development, enhancements, and cost management.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies, product launches, and support marketing campaigns.
  • Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and finance to ensure profitability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product lines and support the sales team with training and tools.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve products and drive innovation.
  • Ensures product and brand initiatives align with and support the organization's public image.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to inform strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or marketing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
