About the position

Microsoft is looking for a Product Marketing Manager – Windows Security. In this role, you will answer questions about the security and privacy needs of consumers on a Windows PC, the core secure platform fundamentals and value propositions that Windows needs to deliver in the AI and Agentic era, and how to drive the evolution of Windows security with next-generation AI powered protection. You will leverage data to understand the Windows customer’s current needs and preferences to make strategic recommendations and influence engineering to prioritize product roadmap and new experiences for marketing focus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the security and privacy needs of consumers on a Windows PC.
  • Develop compelling value propositions to grow end-user consideration and brand trust.
  • Identify core secure platform fundamentals and value propositions for the AI and Agentic era.
  • Provide claims and proof points that are compelling to customers.
  • Drive the evolution of Windows security with next-generation AI powered protection.
  • Leverage data to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Make strategic recommendations to influence product roadmap.
  • Enable marketing, sales, and Public Relations partners to tell compelling customer-driven stories.

Requirements

  • Experience working on technical products in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals.
  • Ability to work with influential internal and external partners.
  • Passion for security and technical knowledge.
  • Experience working in the developer community and/or with security products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in product marketing for security products.
  • Familiarity with AI and Agentic technologies.
