Mochi Health is seeking a QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our healthcare tools. In this role, you’ll be embedded directly with our product and engineering teams, working side-by-side with developers to test new features, uncover edge cases, and make sure our software works seamlessly for patients, pharmacies, and internal users. Your work will enhance the speed and quality of development, ensuring that every release has been thoroughly validated before it reaches production. By taking ownership of testing, you’ll make sure the product truly works for the people who rely on it.

  • Manual Testing of Features: Run through new builds, simulate real-world workflows, and validate that features work as expected before release
  • Scenario Design: Develop comprehensive test cases, including edge cases that developers may miss (e.g., duplicate uploads, unusual state restrictions, incomplete data)
  • Business Workflow Validation: Understand Mochi Health’s systems end-to-end—from order creation to formulary management to payout generation—and ensure accuracy across these flows
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers during feature development, providing rapid feedback (sometimes within minutes) to accelerate iteration cycles
  • User Experience Feedback: Proactively identify pain points and propose improvements based on extensive hands-on use of the product
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of test results, issues found, and edge cases, ensuring knowledge transfer across the team
  • Automation: Work with developers and learn to automate unit tests, and then grow our test list to cover every possible scenario
  • Strong Business Understanding: Ability to quickly learn and navigate healthcare and pharmacy workflows
  • Detail-Oriented & Curious: Naturally inclined to think beyond the 'happy path' and uncover hidden issues
  • Non-Technical but Analytical: No coding required, but familiarity with structured test scripts, CSVs, and basic SQL is a plus
  • End-User Mindset: Comfortable running through large volumes of repetitive tasks and spotting UX improvements that might otherwise be missed
  • Collaborative & Onsite Presence: Must be available to join design meetings, test features immediately, and work closely with developers
  • Adaptable: Comfortable with evolving processes as Mochi builds out a formal QA function
  • Equity
  • Meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable state and local laws
