About the position
Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S., Inc. seeks a Product Software Engineer III in Riverwoods, IL. The role involves delivering products and features as defined by the product roadmap with the scrum team coordinated by Product management. The engineer will work with teams in Engineering and product management to determine the requirements necessary to deliver Legal Analytics products. The position requires understanding and applying the organization's processes, procedures, design, and coding standards to ensure the delivery of quality products. Responsibilities include delivering product fixes and service packs as required, designing, coding, and unit testing of software, and reporting and fixing defects found in testing while escalating project issues and concerns directly to the Legal Analytics Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products and features as defined by the product roadmap with the scrum team.
- Work with teams in Engineering and product management to determine requirements for Legal Analytics products.
- Understand and apply the organization's processes, procedures, design, and coding standards.
- Deliver product fixes and service packs as required.
- Design, code, and unit test software.
- Report and fix defects found in testing.
- Escalate project issues and concerns to the Legal Analytics Team Leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related role.
- 4 years of experience in IBM Cognos system administration.
- 4 years of experience in IBM Cognos data model design and creation.
- 4 years of experience in IBM Cognos report design.
- 4 years of experience in Microsoft T-SQL.
- 4 years of experience in Pentaho Data Integration ETL jobs and transformations.
- 4 years of experience in JavaScript.
