About the position

CMA's Colonial Chevrolet is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Whether you are an experienced automotive sales professional or looking to start a career in the industry, we provide the training and support to help you succeed! As a Product Specialist/Sales Associate at CMA, you will work with a positive and supportive sales culture, collaborating with team members to achieve individual and team sales targets. You will engage customers in a consultative manner, understanding their needs and providing personalized guidance throughout the sales process. You will demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the automotive industry. Additionally, you will generate sales leads through innovative video marketing and social media posts, follow up with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns, and thank them for choosing our dealership. Building rapport and fostering loyalty by staying in touch and being a reliable resource for all their automotive needs is also a key part of this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years customer service, hospitality, and/or retail sales experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency for using customer management software and completing digital paperwork.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
