About the position
PerformYard is a fast-growing and category-leading SaaS company focused on enhancing employee performance management. We are looking for a Product UI/UX Designer to join our team and help us achieve our long-term vision of transforming how performance is managed and measured in organizations of all sizes. This role is 100% remote and offers opportunities for growth as our product team expands. The designer will collaborate with other designers and product managers to create user-friendly designs that drive adoption, engagement, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and help drive the user experience for the PerformYard SaaS products.
- Translate product roadmap and requirements into simple and clean user experiences and designs.
- Work with engineers in agile scrum teams to implement design concepts, including developing wireframes and UI prototypes using Figma.
- Enhance and maintain the PerformYard UI design system.
Requirements
- Portfolio of past product design work demonstrating skills in UX and UI design.
- 3+ years of professional UI design and UX experience on a commercial browser-based SaaS product.
- 1+ years of Figma design experience.
- Experience designing and working on component-driven user interfaces and leveraging atomic design.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum-based development process.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in human factors, UX, or UI design.
- Experience maintaining and evolving a design system and UI component library.
- UI/UX design experience with HRIS, Employee Management, or other business-oriented (B2B) applications.
- Prior hands-on web application development experience (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React).
- Experience designing for Accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA/AAA).
