About the position

The position involves inputting production data into spreadsheets, databases, and/or systems, maintaining production reports, files, and other documents. The employee will assist in the preparation of reports on volume of production, quality control, product yields, and other aspects of production. Daily paperwork such as palletizer reports, downtime sheets, operator logs, and put-up sheets will need to be organized. The role also includes compiling necessary data from paperwork to produce daily production reports, inspecting data for discrepancies, and notifying the supervisor. Additionally, the employee will write and send out production recap emails to appropriate managers and supervisors, provide support to or back up roles in quality support, inventory, accounting, etc., and help maintain accurate reconciliation of finished product inventories. The employee will prepare and compile necessary information for requested audits and maintain safe working conditions for employees while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues. Following all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and working in a manner consistent with all company regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements is essential. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 1 year of operations, administrative, or related experience
  • Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
  • Able to use company computer systems
  • Able to operate office machines including a calculator, scanner, copy machine, facsimile
  • Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented
  • Able to follow directions and meet deadlines
  • Able to complete basic arithmetic, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
