About the position

The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing project plans in the aerospace industry, ensuring that all project control systems are in place and integrated for decision-making. This role involves leading cross-functional projects, managing project schedules, and acting as the primary contact for stakeholders to establish project objectives and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall project plan consistent with project objectives defined by the project owner and key stakeholders.
• Execute project and process plans and set project targets.
• Ensure all project control systems are in place and integrate project data for decision makers.
• Prepare, identify, and present outcomes, assessments, corrective actions, initiatives, and lessons learned.
• Create, manage, and report status on a Microsoft project schedule using MPP.
• Lead cross-functional projects in support of the entire lifecycle of the airplane for the Engineering Team.
• Improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
• Act as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Build projects in Jira and collaborate with IPT and Functional managers to meet milestones.
• Pull System Requirement Plans and provide weekly status updates to leadership.

Requirements

• Certifications and experience in tools like PMP, JIRA, and MPP are desired.
• Years of experience in a Project Management position.
