About the position

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive mental health services in a part-time capacity at Bonmente, a state-of-the-art psychiatric clinic. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with psychiatric disorders, utilizing both in-person and telemedicine platforms. The position emphasizes a collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient care while maintaining a positive work-life balance and a supportive company culture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and treat individuals, families, and teenagers for psychiatric disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine differential diagnoses and intervention plans.
• Document care provided and maintain confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Utilize various treatment methodologies and counseling techniques effectively.
• Seek consultations and facilitate ethical decision-making as needed.
• Participate in performance improvement processes to enhance office functioning.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Master's degree from an accredited nursing or physician assistant program.
• Valid and current CA NP or PA license without any disciplinary actions.
• DEA registration.
