About the position

The Sales Associate at Lovesac is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a unique shopping experience for customers. This part-time role involves utilizing Lovesac's proprietary selling process to meet sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), while maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the product line and ensuring store standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed all sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize Lovesac's proprietary selling process to provide outstanding service to customers.
  • Greet and acknowledge every customer, demonstrating all products effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the entire product line and apply good taste at all times.
  • Educate clients on current promotional offerings and products.
  • Maintain inventory integrity and accuracy, protecting company assets.
  • Assist in executing promotional campaigns, including product placement and marketing updates.
  • Partner with store management to resolve customer service issues and enhance customer service aspects.
  • Ensure store standards are maintained, including merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Process all POS transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally.
  • Model behavior that respects employees, peers, and customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related sales experience.
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet or exceed KPIs and goals.
  • Proven time management skills and adaptability to changing business environments.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities with urgency and solve problems effectively.
  • Accountability and responsibility for actions taken.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service and create engaging solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset, treating all clients with dignity and respect.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate required equipment, including iPads and laptops.
  • Physical ability to move medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds.
