About the position

The QA Test Analyst role is focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through both manual and automated testing. The position involves developing test plans and cases, executing tests, and managing defect tracking while collaborating with multiple development teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail or POS domain and will be responsible for defining quality assurance metrics and presenting test results to management.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases.
• Develop automated tests.
• Perform manual and automated tests for software functionality, installation, and usability.
• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Manage bugs and error tracking.
• Document and present test results to management.
• Coordinate and prioritize testing of application modifications and bug fixes.
• Work with multiple development teams and software projects.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with Cosmos / Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in SQL database query writing and back end validation testing.
• Experience in Agile model.
• Knowledge of Selenium with Python and Robot Framework.
• Experience with a test tracking software package.

Nice-to-haves

• Retail / POS / loyalty domain experience.
