About the position

The Quality Inspector position at Paslin Company is essential for ensuring the quality and precision of products, fixtures, and tools. This role involves hands-on inspection work and collaboration with engineering teams to uphold and enhance product quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct layout inspections on products, fixtures, and tools.
• Identify and communicate any drawing discrepancies or deficiencies to Engineering.
• Validate completed programs to ensure functionality and cost-efficiency.
• Provide accurate time reporting for tasks using the ERP system.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Familiarity with PCDIMS and Polyworks is preferred.
• Proficient in using precision hand gauges and testing equipment.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
