Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and integrate system software responsible for the initialization and running of quantum components in real time.
- Develop and implement novel algorithms to solve a variety of computationally hard problems.
- Collaborate with experimentalists and hardware designers on current and future designs.
- Work across the breadth of software, firmware, and hardware subsystems.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering, particularly in system software development.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and algorithms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with hardware integration and firmware development.
- Knowledge of quantum mechanics and quantum algorithms.
- Previous work in a research and development setting.
