About the position

Siemens EDA is a global technology leader in Electronic Design Automation software. Our software tools enable companies around the world to develop highly innovative electronic products faster and more cost-effectively. Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design. The Questa Verification IQ Product is a core R&D team working on Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ), which is a Siemens next-generation web-based collaborative verification management product. Performance is key for us, so our tools leverage various grid systems & different CI tools to help our customers overcome their challenges arising from designs escalating in complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to creating UX/UI that adheres to Siemens guidelines.
  • Propose usability enhancements.
  • Develop an aesthetically pleasing UI.
  • Build a state-of-the-art product built on a technology stack that uses Java Spring with Hibernate to interface with various SQL databases and Angular, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap for the front-end.
  • Work with a diverse global team and contribute to the development and enhancement of production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases.
  • Solve complex, open-ended problems in collaboration with a senior group of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Stay self-motivated, disciplined, and focused while driving innovation within the team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in software design and architecture.
  • Full understanding of SDLC.
  • Good knowledge of Client/Server architectures.
  • Experience in Web Services (In particular RESTful Web Services).
  • Experience with full stack development tools including Spring Boot, NodeJS, Redux, JSON, JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
  • Extensive knowledge of JAVA and Spring Framework, with development on UNIX/LINUX platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in Algorithms and Data structures.
  • Experience with SQL/noSQL databases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic knowledge of Digital Electronics and concepts related to SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with Figma, Photoshop.
  • Exposure to Simulation technologies or Formal-based Verification methodologies.
