About the position

The Receptionist at Solaris HealthCare Charlotte Harbor plays a crucial role in providing a welcoming and efficient first point of contact for residents, family members, and visitors. This position involves performing various administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist residents, family members, and visitors in a friendly manner.
  • Answer phones in a timely manner, using proper and understandable English.
  • Print census each morning.
  • Type correspondence, memos, etc., as needed for department directors.
  • Receipt all monies for the operating, trust, and security accounts as instructed by the Business Office Manager and/or Administrator.
  • Sell meal tickets to guests and personnel and keep record of all monies.
  • Assist in ordering supplies for the facility.
  • Assist in coordination of transportation when necessary.
  • Assist the Admissions Department with inquiries, paperwork, tours, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum one year's experience in an administrative position required.
  • Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment.
