Otterbein has an employment opportunity for a Sales, Marketing and Communications Director - the leader of the Otterbein Marketing and Communications Team. The ultimate objective of the position is to meet or exceed occupancy objectives and sales goals by managing all activities associated with the sales, marketing and communications processes. The marketing and communications aspects of the role includes lead generation and demand development activities for all levels of care. In addition, the Marketing and Communications Director has direct sales responsibility for independent and assisted living cottages and apartments. In this role, the position is responsible to initiate contact with prospective residents (and /or their families), nurturing the relationship and ultimately closing the sale and admitting the prospect to the community. In both of these roles, the Marketing and Communications Director must possess the ability to effectively articulate the Otterbein value proposition, develop and manage the contact and lead database, make outbound calls to provoke interest and yield on campus or on location appointments, conduct appointments and tours to complete the process; and represent Otterbein at various public functions.
