The Sales Support Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations within the showroom. This position involves entering quotes and purchase orders, assisting sales representatives, and managing customer inquiries in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Enter quotes and purchase orders
  • Assist Sales Representatives with inquiries
  • Answer phone inquiries
  • Respond to pricing requests from sales reps
  • Create quotations
  • Track and follow up on all orders
  • Track inventory purchases
  • Manage special requests and P.O.s
  • Assist with pick tickets and RMA's
  • Arrange lunch and learns for new products
  • Provide slab pictures and sizes for sales reps
  • Maintain updated container tracking spreadsheet
  • Prepare weekly reports for the New York team
  • Assist in preparing staff schedules
  • Update sales reps client lists
  • Support Operations Director with administrative duties
  • Cover front desk as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a similar role
  • Previous experience with ERP systems
  • Experience in the construction and retail industry is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent administrative and sales support skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
  • High school diploma or GED
