About the position

The SAP Ariba Expert role is designed for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both development and analysis within the SAP ecosystem. This position focuses on leveraging Ariba's capabilities in procurement processes, including upstream and downstream functionalities, to enhance business operations and drive efficiency. The expert will collaborate with stakeholders to translate their needs into technical specifications, ensuring that SAP modules are configured to meet specific business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Ariba Techno functional consultant for upstream, downstream, and Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLP).
• Integrate ARIBA with SAP/S4 HANA using Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
• Configure guided buying, invoicing, and approval flow processes.
• Manage master data and transactional data integration.
• Oversee sourcing, guided sourcing, and contract workspace functionalities.
• Create functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers for implementation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within SAP systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SAP development and analysis.
• Proficient in SAP MM and S4 HANA procurement processes.
• Experience with ARIBA integration using CIG.
• Strong knowledge of guided buying, invoicing, and approval flow configuration.
• Familiarity with master data and transactional data integration.
• Experience in sourcing and contract workspace management.
• Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP teams.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
